Sienna Chair

The Sienna Chair is a mid-century wire chair with a sculpted grid shell and a crisp, architectural base of crossed wire struts. The open steel shell curves up into a rounded back and flows into the seat, and an upholstered seat pad adds comfort and a contrasting layer of leather, faux leather or fabric.

Its open, see-through form keeps busy cafes, compact dining rooms and narrow bars from feeling crowded. The frame comes in polished stainless steel, black powder coated steel or brass, from industrial and graphic to warm and glamorous, and the seat pad lets you introduce color without changing the frame.

Built for commercial use

Like all of our metal seating, the Sienna is welded rather than bolted. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame finish: polished stainless steel, black powder coated steel or brass.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides in rich browns, greens and reds.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, blues and greens.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of commercial fabrics, including tweeds and performance textiles in many colors. COM is also accepted (minimums apply).

For customer-supplied material, we recommend specifying a commercial-grade textile rated at 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the exact yardage. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
