The Aspen Arm Chair pairs a warm solid wood frame with a fully upholstered seat and back, then adds a slender metal arm that sweeps from the back down to the seat rail. The result is a dining arm chair that feels tailored and light rather than bulky, with the comfort of a padded back and the presence of an arm chair at the head of the table.
Four gently splayed legs, tied together with side and rear stretchers, give the Aspen a grounded, mid-century stance. The upholstered back wraps slightly around the sitter, and the arms come in black or brushed brass, so the chair can read rustic lodge or polished steakhouse depending on the finish. It coordinates with the Aspen Side Chair and the Aspen Stool with Arms for a consistent look from dining room to bar.
The Aspen is built with mortise-and-tenon wood joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Like all of our wood seating, it is made to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture.
Plan about 26" per seat at the table for an arm chair of this width. Check that the 25.75" arm height clears your table apron. Our restaurant seating layout guide covers aisle and table spacing in more detail.
