Sarina Chair

The Sarina Chair is a compact steel arm chair with a light, mid-century school-chair feel. A slim tubular steel frame loops up from the legs to form open arms, an upholstered seat adds comfort, and a curved wood veneer back panel floats above, adding warmth against the clean metal lines.

The combination of powder-coated steel, wood veneer and upholstery gives designers three materials to play with: a white frame with pale wood for a Scandinavian look, or black with walnut and leather for something richer. The Sarina is stackable and space-efficient, a smart choice for cafes, hotel breakfast rooms and multi-use event spaces.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted. The Sarina is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks for storage, and ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Our full powder coat palette, including the Color Finish Series, the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal, brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.

Wood (Wood Option A): Teak, oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Wood veneer (Wood Option C): White oak, walnut, red oak, oak, black oak, antiqued willow, antiqued rubber and antiqued maple.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): Velvets in sand, rust, blue, teal, fern green, royal blue, black and goldenrod, plus performance fabrics rated 100,000–130,000 double rubs.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): A range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in browns, blacks, greens, blues and neutrals.

Leather (Leather Option B): Pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
