The Sonoma Lounge Chair brings the Sonoma family's slim welded steel frame down to a relaxed lounge height. A low, wide seat cushion sits inside an open steel outline, with a squared upholstered back and solid wood arm caps resting on the steel arms. The proportions are generous, with a 23.5" wide seat, but the open frame keeps the chair from looking heavy.
It is an easy choice for lobbies, lounges and waiting areas where you want comfort with a modern, tailored edge. Use it singly beside a side table, in pairs across a coffee table, or with the Sonoma 3-Seater Sofa for a full seating group. The frame comes in powder coat or brushed brass, and it is part of our Steakhouse Collection.
The Sonoma Lounge Chair frame is welded steel, not bolted, so the joints stay tight under daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
Leave room for legroom and a low table in front of lounge seating, plus clear walkways around each group. Our restaurant seating layout guide covers clearances.
