Allston Lounge Chair

The Allston Lounge Chair is a wide, low-slung club chair with a tailored, mid-century attitude. A thick upholstered seat cushion and a horizontally channeled back sit within a slim tubular metal frame that runs down into sled-style legs. Solid wood arm rests cap the frame on each side, adding a warm, tactile touch exactly where hands land.

Shown in black leather on a brass frame, the Allston reads rich and confident, at home in a steakhouse lounge, hotel bar or mountain lodge lobby. The frame is offered in brushed black or brass, and upholstery runs from fine leathers to faux leathers, fabrics and COM, so it can lean classic or contemporary. Its generous 27" seat width and low seat height invite guests to settle in for a drink or a long conversation.

Built for commercial use

The metal frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term strength in busy lounges and lobbies. The Allston is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame: brushed black or brass.

Wood arms (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beech with walnut stain, ash with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed and richly colored hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of fabrics, tweeds and performance textiles, many rated 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the required yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
