Diego Lounge Chair

The Diego Lounge Chair is a mid-century style lounge chair with an open, exposed wood frame. Angled arms sweep back from the front legs to the rear posts, and a loose upholstered seat cushion and back cushion sit within the frame, leaving the sides open and airy. The effect is light and sculptural, with the wood frame drawing clean lines around the upholstery.

A 22.5" wide seat and 24" arm height make it comfortable for reading, conversation or a drink in a lobby, and its slim 25" width lets you fit more seats into a lounge than a bulkier club chair would. Upholstered in leather, faux leather or fabric and framed in your choice of wood, the Diego looks equally at home in a modern hotel lobby, a resort library or a club lounge.

Built for commercial use

The Diego is built on a solid wood frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from clean neutrals such as onyx, ivory and pewter to cognac, toffee, hunter green and a family of distressed finishes like whiskey, bourbon and hickory.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette, from black, white, tan and grays to vintage greens, caramel, chestnut, rich blues and dusty earth tones.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): an extensive library of commercial fabrics and tweeds in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and brighter accent colors, with many selections rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply).

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
