The Floyd Side Chair with Upholstered Seat and Seat Back is the most cushioned of the Floyd side chairs. A slim tubular steel frame forms the legs and back supports, and both the seat and the back are fully upholstered, giving guests padding wherever they lean while the chair keeps Floyd's clean, schoolhouse-inspired outline.

With padding front and back, this Floyd suits hotel restaurants, meeting and banquet rooms, campus dining and casual restaurants where guests stay a while. Frame color and upholstery can be combined to set a calm or bold tone, and the chair stacks for storage, which helps in multipurpose rooms. It coordinates with the rest of the Floyd side and arm chairs.

Built for commercial use

The Floyd's steel frame is welded, not bolted, and the chair ships fully assembled from the factory. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The chair stacks for compact storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. Coverage includes a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish B): matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green.

Wood (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad range of standard and performance fabrics, including tweeds and textured weaves rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.
