Byron Lounge Chair

The Byron Lounge Chair is a low, wide lounge chair with a softly sculpted upholstered shell resting on an exposed solid wood frame. The seat and back read as one continuous form, with the arms sweeping down from the back in a relaxed curve, while the wood legs and side rails stay visible underneath for a light, mid-century feel.

At 31" wide with a 14.5" seat height, the Byron invites guests to settle in and lean back, which makes it a natural fit for lobbies, lounges and club rooms. It is part of our Steakhouse Collection and can be finished in American walnut, white oak, ash or beech with leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material, so it can go warm and clubby or quiet and contemporary.

Built for commercial use

The Byron's wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon construction with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year warranty on finish and upholstery from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply), and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
