The Amanda Chair is a roomy, square-armed lounge chair with a relaxed, modern profile. Wide upholstered arms frame a deep seat cushion and a loose back cushion, and short solid wood legs lift the body just off the floor. At 35" wide and 35" deep, it gives guests generous room to settle in.

It is upholstered over a solid wood frame, with legs finished in your choice of wood species and stains. Choose leather for a warm, heirloom feel that breaks in over time, or faux leather or fabric for easy everyday care. The Amanda pairs with the matching Amanda 2-Seater Sofa and Amanda 3-Seater Sofa for a coordinated lounge.

Built for commercial use

The Amanda is built on a solid wood frame for the daily use of lobbies, lounges and guest areas. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each chair ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, and black painted ash with an open-pore finish.

Leather (Leather Option A): standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed leathers such as Distressed Bourbon, Distressed Hickory and Distressed Whiskey.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, blues, greens and warm earth tones.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad range of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, or COM (customer's own material; minimums apply).

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the yardage needed for each piece. See our guide to double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
