Abbott Lounge Chair

The Abbott Lounge Chair is a Danish modern armchair built around a sculptural solid wood frame. Slender arms grow out of the back posts and sweep forward in a carved, gently curving line, while tapered legs and angled stretchers give the base a light, architectural look. The upholstered back is shaped to cradle the shoulders, and a separate seat cushion adds comfort for long conversations.

Its 28" width makes it a compact lounge chair that still feels substantial, so it works in pairs beside a fireplace, in hotel rooms, or along the edge of a bar lounge. Specify it in one of our hardwoods and stains with leather, faux leather, fabric or COM. It coordinates with the Abbott 2-Seater Sofa and is part of our Steakhouse collection.

Built for commercial use

The Abbott's solid wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
