The Cadiz is a light, dining-height commercial table with a slatted top, specified for patios, cafes, beer gardens and food halls — rooms where the furniture gets moved and where water needs somewhere to go.

At 28" it sits just under a standard 29–30" dining table and pairs with 18" seat height side chairs. A 28" square seats two comfortably, or four at a squeeze for drinks.

Why a slatted top

Slats drain. On an outdoor table that is the difference between staff towelling every surface before service and simply wiping it down, and it means rain does not pool on the top overnight. Slatted tops also shed grit rather than trapping it at the edge profile.

Weight, and what it buys you

At 17 lbs one person can reset a patio, push tables together for a group, or clear the floor for an event without help. The trade is wind: light tables move on exposed rooftops and waterfront terraces long before chairs do, so weight or bolt down anything in an exposed position, and have a plan for securing the patio before weather.

Sizing a room
