Julian Lounge Chair

The Julian Lounge Chair sets a generously upholstered seat and back on a slender steel frame, with arms that can be finished in wood or upholstered to match the cushions. Thin metal legs and arm supports give the chair a light, open, mid-century inspired profile, while the thick seat and softly angled back make it genuinely comfortable to sink into.

At 27.25" wide with a deep 25" x 20.5" seat, it is sized for hotel lobbies, resort lounges, club rooms and executive waiting areas where guests settle in for a while. Specify the frame in one of our powder-coated or premium metal finishes, such as antique brass or dark bronze, choose wood or upholstered arms, and cover it in faux leather, leather or COM. Group two around a low table or line several along a window wall.

Built for commercial use

The metal frame is welded, not bolted, so there are no connections to work loose under heavy daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): powder-coated colors from the Color Finish Series, matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized from the Metal Finish Series, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, matte red rust, brushed copper and antique brass.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, natural ash, antiqued ash, medium brown stained ash, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, European beech and American walnut.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad palette of standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage, pebbled and saddle-toned finishes.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

COM/COL: customer's own material or leather is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
