Solid wood frame construction with an upholstered seat and seat back.
The Annette Chair is a mid-century-inspired lounge chair with an exposed solid wood frame. Slim wood rails form the arms and legs on each side, framing an upholstered seat and back cushion in a crisp, open silhouette. It looks light from every angle and sits comfortably at a conversational 18" seat height.
Choose the frame in American walnut, white oak, ash or beech, and upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material. In leather, the Annette breaks in over time and develops the patina of heirloom furniture, a natural fit for steakhouse lounges and clubby bars. Pair it with the matching Annette 2-Seater Sofa and Annette 3-Seater Sofa.
The Annette's solid hardwood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of service. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each chair ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty.
Allow walking room around each chair and space for a side table. See our seating layout guide for spacing and aisle clearances.
