Oldsted Lounge Chair

The Oldsted Lounge Chair pairs a minimalist steel rod frame with thick, cushioned upholstery for a relaxed, low-slung seat with a modern-industrial edge. The slim frame forms a sled-style base and rises into open side rails, topped with wood arm caps that add a warm, tactile touch exactly where hands rest. The upholstered seat and tall back are generously padded, inviting guests to settle in.

Shown in a saddle-toned leather, the Oldsted can be upholstered in leather, faux leather or COM, with the frame in a wide range of powder coats and the arms in woods from American walnut to oak and stained ash. Its 26.25" width and deep 31.5" footprint suit lobbies, lounges and fireside seating groups, and it fits naturally into lodge-inspired and steakhouse interiors alike.

Built for commercial use

The Oldsted's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for lasting rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of Color Finish Series powder coats, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.

Wood arms (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage, pebbled and solid tones.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

COM is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
