Chelsea Sofa

The Chelsea Sofa is a statement two-seat sofa built from a grid of round, button-like cushions. Rows of plump circular pads form the back and seat, each one appearing to float on a slim steel frame finished in brushed stainless steel and black powder coat. Shown with a mix of colored cushions, it reads almost like a piece of pop art, and it instantly becomes the focal point of a lobby or lounge.

Upholster every cushion in one leather for a quieter, sculptural look, or mix colors to create a pattern that matches your brand. With a 51.5" width and a low 16" seat, it is sized for lobby vignettes, waiting areas and lounge corners where guests linger and take photos.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted. The piece is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty, plus a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each sofa comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame: brushed stainless steel and black powder coat.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic onyx, ivory and chestnut to rich cognac, espresso and distressed finishes like whiskey and bourbon.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including pebbled and glazed textures.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds in solid and heathered colors, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM/COL: customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply).

For commercial seating, we recommend specifying upholstery rated at 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
