Thesby Lounge Chair

The Thesby Lounge Chair scales the Thesby design up into a roomy, low-slung lounge piece. Thick upholstered seat and back cushions rest within a slender steel frame, with solid wood side detailing behind the cushions and slim wood-capped arms. Thin, angled steel legs lift the chair off the floor, keeping the generous cushions feeling light rather than heavy.

With a 17" seat height and a wide 22.5" x 21.25" seat, the Thesby Lounge is made for unhurried conversation in hotel lobbies, steakhouse lounges and club rooms. It coordinates with the Thesby Arm Chair and Thesby Side Chair so lounge and dining areas can share one look.

Built for commercial use

The Thesby's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for lasting rigidity, and the solid wood side panels add warmth without sacrificing strength. It is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Color Finish Series powder coats in a wide palette, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper, rust patina and matte red rust. A custom powder coat color is also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, natural ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from vintage and pebbled finishes to classic solids.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in rich colors plus durable Fighter and Medley textiles rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
