Thesby Arm Chair

The Thesby Arm Chair pairs a slim steel frame with plush upholstered cushions and warm wood accents. Channel-stitched seat and back cushions sit within a frame flanked by solid wood side panels, while thin steel legs and open tubular arms keep the overall look airy and modern. The mix of metal, wood and upholstery gives the Thesby a layered, residential feel suited to upscale dining.

Generous cushions make it comfortable through long meals, and the open arms keep the chair visually light at the table. Specify the frame in a powder coat or premium metal finish, choose a wood tone for the side panels, and upholster in leather or faux leather for a refined, easy-care look. It shares its design with the Thesby Side Chair and Thesby Lounge Chair.

Built for commercial use

The Thesby's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for lasting rigidity, and the solid wood side panels add warmth without sacrificing strength. It is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Color Finish Series powder coats in a wide palette, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper, rust patina and matte red rust. A custom powder coat color is also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, natural ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from vintage and pebbled finishes to classic solids.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

COM: Customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
