Manhattan Lounge Chair

The Manhattan Lounge Chair is a fully upholstered club chair set in a polished stainless steel frame. Plump, squared cushions form the back, arms and seat, and a slim exposed steel frame wraps around them like a bright outline, with the steel base lifting the chair just off the floor. It is a confident, modernist design that suits lobbies, lounges and VIP rooms.

At 30" wide it gives generous, cushioned comfort in a neat cube-like footprint. Pair it with the Manhattan 2-Seater or 3-Seater Sofa for a complete seating group. Upholster it in fine leather for a classic finish or in commercial fabric.

Built for commercial use

The Manhattan Lounge Chair combines a solid wood upholstered frame with welded stainless steel. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from onyx, ivory and chestnut to cognac, espresso and hunter green, plus a distressed series in tones like whiskey, bourbon and rust.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and golds.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
