The Manhattan Stool brings the sculptural horseshoe form of the Manhattan Dining Chair to bar and counter height. A curved upholstered back wraps around the sitter and runs forward into arms at the same height, creating one continuous band, while flat metal side frames drop to the floor and are tied together by a footrest. In brushed brass it has a warm, polished glamour; in stainless steel it reads cooler and more modern.
The 19.25" x 19" seat and enclosing back make it one of the most comfortable stools you can put at a bar. It comes in bar and counter heights and coordinates with the Manhattan Dining Chair for dining rooms. Upholster it in leather, faux leather or fabric, or choose a powder coat finish for the frame.
The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for strength at busy bars. The stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.
