Floyd Stool with Upholstered Seat

The Floyd Stool with Upholstered Seat combines the slim steel frame and curved wood veneer back of the Floyd family with a cushioned seat pad, so guests stay comfortable through a long evening at the bar. Four straight powder-coated legs and a perimeter foot rail keep the profile light and open, while the soft seat and warm veneer back add comfort and character.

The upholstered seat can be specified in leather, faux leather, fabric or customer's own material, which makes it easy to coordinate with banquettes and dining chairs in the same room. It comes in bar and counter heights and pairs naturally with the Floyd Arm Chair with Upholstered Seat for a consistent look from dining room to bar top.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted. The stool is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish B): matte powder coats including white, warm gray, silver gray, orange, dark gray (sand finish), black and army green.

Wood veneer (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard faux leathers in colors such as black, white, tan, wine, orange, light gray and taupe.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of commercial fabrics, tweeds and textures.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
