The Meyer Stool brings the mid-century lines of our Meyer Chair to bar and counter height. A solid wood frame supports an upholstered seat and a curved, upholstered back band carried on rear posts that angle back for support. Tall, slightly splayed legs are tied together with slim stretchers and a front footrest, keeping the stool light and open in profile.
The wraparound back gives real support for guests who settle in at a counter or bar, while the gap between back and seat keeps the design airy. In natural wood with a sage green fabric, as shown, it feels fresh and Scandinavian; walnut with leather leans warmer and more tailored. Made from the best-quality hardwoods and fine upholstery, it is designed to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture. It coordinates with the Meyer Chair.
The Meyer Stool is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.
