Luna Stool

The Luna Stool carries the signature look of the Luna Chair to bar and counter height. A padded band forms the backrest and sweeps forward on each side into the arms, wrapping the sitter in a soft, continuous curve. It floats over a cushioned seat on a slim tubular steel frame with a footrest, so the stool feels supportive and enclosed while keeping a light, open profile along the bar.

With a wide 21.75" x 18.5" seat and integrated arms, the Luna is one of the more comfortable stools you can put at a bar or hotel counter. It coordinates with the Luna Chair for dining areas. Upholster it in leather, faux leather or fabric, and specify a custom powder coat color for the frame.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for a solid stool in heavy-use bars. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from onyx, ivory and chestnut to cognac, espresso and hunter green, plus a distressed series in tones like whiskey, bourbon and rust.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and golds.

Frame: custom powder coat color available.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Where it works

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
