Aristotle Lounge Chair

The Aristotle Lounge Chair is a compact modernist club chair with a squared, tightly upholstered body set on a polished stainless steel base. The seat, back and arms form a clean box, and flat steel bars run beneath it to slim feet, lifting the chair off the floor so it looks light despite its generous 30.5" width. The contrast of soft leather or fabric against gleaming steel gives it a timeless, executive feel.

With a 15" seat height and a square footprint, the Aristotle works in pairs around a cocktail table, as a single accent in a guest suite, or alongside the Aristotle 2-Seater and 3-Seater Sofas for a complete lounge grouping.

Built for commercial use

The base is polished stainless steel with welded, not bolted, connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides in rich browns, greens and reds.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide range of commercial fabrics, including tweeds and performance weaves, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
