Danen Lounge Chair

The Danen Lounge Chair is a square, tailored club chair with a button-tufted back, wide track arms and a slim solid wood base frame on short, squared legs. The tufting runs in a neat grid across the back cushion, the seat cushion sits flush within the arms, and the whole chair has the crisp, boxy profile of classic mid-century lounge seating.

With a generous 24.75" wide seat and arms at 22.75", it is roomy enough for guests to settle in with a drink or a laptop, and the exposed wood base keeps it from feeling heavy. Use it on its own in a reading corner or pair it with the Danen 2-Seater Sofa and Danen 3-Seater Sofa for a coordinated lobby or lounge group in leather or fabric.

Built for commercial use

The Danen Lounge Chair is built on a wood frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from clean neutrals such as onyx, ivory and pewter to cognac, toffee, hunter green and a family of distressed finishes like whiskey, bourbon and hickory.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): an extensive library of commercial fabrics and tweeds in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and brighter accent colors, with many selections rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply).

For commercial seating we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are welcome, and we will give you the yardage required.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
