Lark Lounge Chair

The Lark Lounge Chair is a low, relaxed lounge chair with a solid wood frame and spring and foam upholstered cushions. Open wood arms rest on angled side supports, and a thick seat cushion and tall back cushion sit inside the frame, so the upholstery appears to float above the floor.

The angled back and 16.5" seat height invite guests to settle in, while the exposed wood keeps the chair visually light in a lobby or lounge. It pairs with the Lark 2-Seater and 3-Seater Sofas for a complete seating group, and its warm wood frame suits lodge, Scandinavian and mid-century settings.

Built for commercial use

The Lark Lounge Chair is built with a solid wood frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash and European beech, plus black painted ash (open pore), ash with a light or dark walnut stain, and beech with a walnut stain.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic blacks, ivories and browns to rich cognacs, greens and distressed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds in neutrals and saturated colors, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage required. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more detail.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
