Lua Lounge Chair

The Lua Lounge Chair is a low, sculptural lounge chair with a solid wood frame and a woven cane seat and back. Its most striking feature is the pair of crossed X-shaped side frames, which carry the arms and give the chair a strong graphic profile, while the angled cane back and seat invite guests to lean back and relax.

The natural cane adds warmth, texture and a breezy, airy quality, especially against a dark frame like the black shown. The Lua brings a modernist, mid-century character to lobbies and lounges, and it works well in pairs beside a fireplace or framing a coffee table.

Built for commercial use

The Lua is built with a solid wood frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
