Anson Lounge Chair

The Anson Lounge Chair is the low, deep version of the Anson design. Solid wood legs form an angled, compass-like A-frame on each side, joined by a crossing stretcher and capped with broad wooden arms. A thick upholstered back and seat cushion settle into that frame at a relaxed 15.5" seat height, with upholstered pads on the arms for comfort.

The result is a lounge chair with real presence: graphic and architectural from the side, generous and comfortable from the front. Its 24.75" x 21" seat invites guests to linger in a lobby, library or bar lounge. The Anson Lounge Chair belongs to our Steakhouse, Alpine Lodge and Lobby and Lounge Collections and pairs naturally with the Anson Arm Chair for dining.

Built for commercial use

The frame is solid wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, ash in natural, medium brown, chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry and antiqued finishes, European beech and American walnut.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): soft velvets in colors from sand and rust to teal and goldenrod, plus performance fabrics rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage and pebbled textures in browns, greens, blues and blacks.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
