About the Archer Lounge Chair and Ottoman
The Archer Lounge Chair and Ottoman is an organic, fully upholstered lounge set on slender polished stainless steel bases. The chair is a single sculpted shell that curves up into a high back and wraps forward into soft, enveloping arms, with loose seat and back cushions that let guests curl up or sit upright. The matching ottoman repeats the rounded upholstered form on the same thin steel legs.
It is a statement piece, especially in a saturated color, and it gives a lobby, lounge or suite an instant focal point. The set is upholstered in a wide range of commercial fabrics or COM. Archer chairs appear in F11 in San Diego, shown in the project photos on this page.

Built for commercial use
The base is steel with welded, not bolted, connections. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each lounge chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

At 38" wide, the Archer needs room to breathe. Keep at least 36" of clear walkway around lounge groupings and leave space for the ottoman in front; see our restaurant seating layout guide.
Finishes and upholstery
Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide range of commercial fabrics, including tweeds and performance weaves, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.
For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering
Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Designform Furnishings is a commercial wholesaler: we sell to businesses, designers, purchasing firms and the public for commercial projects, not for residential or personal use. We ship worldwide.
