Cypress Lounge Chair

The Cypress Lounge Chair pairs a hand-woven rope back with a slim metal frame for relaxed outdoor lounging. The rope is woven in an open lattice over a gently curved backrest that wraps around to form the arms, and the frame rests on angled, crossing legs that give the chair a light, modern stance.

Deep seat and back cushions, with optional quick dry foam, make it comfortable for long afternoons on a terrace or pool deck. Shown with a dark frame and rope and warm sand-colored cushions, the Cypress is part of our Al Fresco line, with frame finishes from Metal Option D and outdoor fabrics from Fabric Option C, including Sunbrella.

Built for commercial use

The metal frame is welded, not bolted, and like all of our Al Fresco products the Cypress is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option D): white (textured or smooth), Prima 2 white, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray 952, brown caramel, black satin, black (textured) and anthracite bronze.

Fabric (Fabric Option C): outdoor performance fabrics including Sunbrella and selections from the Aprohdite and Cartenza lines.

For commercial seating we recommend upholstery rated at 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage for your fabric or leather. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
