Kendall Lounge Chair

The Kendall Lounge Chair has a mid-century spirit: a broad, softly curved upholstered back that wraps toward the sitter, floating above a separate upholstered seat on a solid wood frame. Splayed, tapered legs joined by slim stretchers give the chair a light, open stance, and the generous seat and low 17.75" seat height invite guests to settle in.

Because the back and seat can be upholstered in different materials, the Kendall works well as a color moment, such as a cream back over a saturated seat, or in a single leather for a quieter look. It is a natural fit for hotel lobbies, lounges and waiting areas, and it is part of our Lobby & Lounge Collection, where it pairs easily with sofas and low tables.

Built for commercial use

The Kendall is built on a solid wood frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty, from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Faux Leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, blues, greens and warm tones.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide range of commercial fabrics and tweeds. COM is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
