Carmel Arm Chair

The Carmel Arm Chair is an outdoor dining arm chair built entirely from aluminum, with horizontal "faux wood" aluminum slats across the seat and back. From a few steps away it reads like a slatted teak patio chair, but there is no wood to oil, crack or gray out. A slim square-tube frame carries straight legs, flat arm caps and a gently reclined back made of four wide slats, so the chair looks clean and light on a terrace or sidewalk.

The seat is a generous 16.75" x 18.5", and the arms sit at 25.5", which gives guests a relaxed place to rest during a long lunch outdoors. It is part of our Alpine Lodge Collection, coordinates with the matching Carmel Bar Stool and Carmel table tops, and is stocked in our quick ship program for fast patio openings.

Built for commercial use

The Carmel is an aluminum chair meant for outdoor use, with a welded metal frame rather than bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. The chair stacks for storage and cleaning. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. Every chair carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

The Carmel line is offered in set frame and slat color combinations rather than open finish selections, which keeps it simple to specify and reorder.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
