Catalina Chair

The Catalina Chair is an outdoor dining arm chair from our Al Fresco line, with a rounded, tub-like shell wrapped in woven outdoor fabric. A dense crisscross weave forms the back and arms in one continuous curve, so the chair hugs the guest while still looking light and textural. Below, four slender, slightly tapered legs on a powder-coated cast aluminum frame keep the profile clean.

Shown in a dark woven finish, it has a relaxed, resort-casual feel that works on a pool deck, a rooftop or a garden patio. An optional quick-dry foam seat cushion adds comfort for long meals outside. The compact 22.75" width makes it easy to fit around patio tables.

Built for commercial use

Al Fresco products are UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. The Catalina's metal frame is welded rather than bolted, and the chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty, plus a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame (Metal Option D): powder-coat colors including white and black in smooth or textured finishes, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel, black satin and anthracite bronze.

Outdoor fabric (Fabric Option C): a selection of outdoor performance fabrics, including several Sunbrella colors along with Aprohdite and Cartenza options.

Woven fabric (Woven Fabric Option E): outdoor woven fabric for the shell. Ask your rep for the current color card.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
