Margot Chair

The Margot Chair is a fully upholstered arm chair with a soft, rounded shell set on slim steel legs. The back curves around the sitter and slopes down into padded arms, so the upholstery forms one continuous, enveloping shape, while four thin legs keep the chair light and lifted. The effect is relaxed and modern, with the comfort of a lounge chair in a dining-height package.

At 27.25" wide with a 16.75" x 18" seat and arms at 24.25", the Margot is made for lingering, whether at a dinner table, in a hotel lounge or in a private dining room. Choose a powder coat or custom color for the frame and upholster it in faux leather, leather, velvet or performance fabric.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted. The Margot is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad powder coat palette from our Color Finish Series in matte or gloss, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers in warm browns, grays, blacks and accent colors such as gypsy teal, Egyptian blue and Tuscany yellow, including vintage and pebbled finishes.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in rich colors plus Fighter and Medley performance fabrics rated 100,000–130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
