Walnut (South American) Planked Top with Live Edge Detai

The Walnut (South American) Planked Top with Live Edge Detail is a 2" thick solid wood table top built from wide planks of South American walnut. One long edge keeps the natural, irregular line of the tree, so the top reads as a feature piece rather than a flat work surface. The grain runs in long streaks of deep chocolate brown with warmer tones toward the edge, and no two tops come out exactly alike.

It is made for rooms where the table is meant to be noticed: chef's counters, wine bars, private dining rooms and hotel lounges. As a quick ship item it also suits openings and refreshes on short timelines. Pair it with a sturdy base from our table base line and with wood chairs in walnut tones, or with dark metal frames that let the top carry the room. The top is sold without a base and is intended for indoor use only.

Built for commercial use

This is a solid wood top made for daily commercial service and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Tops ship separately from bases, and the customer attaches them with the hardware provided. It is not recommended for outdoor use, so keep it indoors and away from standing water and direct heat. The top carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
