About the Compass Coffee Table
The Compass Coffee Table sets a 1/2" clear tempered glass top over an open solid wood frame, so the structure underneath becomes the design. Angled legs and a framework of rails below the glass read clearly through the top, giving the table a light, mid-century character even at a generous 63" length.
Built in solid hardwood from our Wood Option B palette, including American walnut, American white oak, North American ash and European beech, it brings warmth to a lobby or lounge seating group while the glass keeps it visually quiet in front of a sofa. At 17.75" high it sits at a comfortable reach alongside lounge seating such as the Cube 3-Seater Sofa and Cube Lounge Chair.
Design details
- 1/2" clear tempered glass top
- Open solid wood frame that stays visible through the glass
- Long rectangular footprint, 63" x 27.5"
- Low 17.75" height for lounge and lobby seating
- Solid hardwood in natural, stained or black painted finishes
Built for commercial use
The solid wood frame is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, the kind of construction that stays tight in a busy hotel lobby. The table is tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Like all of our tables, it ships with the top and base packed separately, and the customer attaches them with the hardware provided. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
