Duet Stool

The Duet Stool takes the Duet Chair's soft, rounded upholstered back and cushioned seat up to bar and counter height. A low, gently curved backrest gives light support without blocking sightlines across the bar, and the slim powder coated steel frame is tied together by stretchers that double as a footrest.

Like the chair, the Duet Stool is specified in coordinated palettes, with stocked versions pairing a black or terra cotta base with natural or black ash and matching fabric or leather. It comes in both bar and counter heights, so you can run one design along a bar, a kitchen counter and an adjacent dining room with the matching Duet Chair. Stocked combinations are available in our quick ship program.

Built for commercial use

The Duet Stool has a welded steel frame, not bolted, with a durable powder coated finish. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Stocked combinations: black base with black ash and pewter grey fabric; terra cotta base with natural ash and terra cotta fabric; black base with black ash and chestnut leather.

Fabric (Fabric Option D): pewter grey, lead grey, terra cotta, light green, dark green and dark blue.

Leather (Leather Option D): chestnut or black leather.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply). Minimums also apply for any finishes that are not stocked; please contact your local rep for more information.

For commercial seating we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are welcome, and we will give you the yardage required.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
