Duet Chair

The Duet Chair is a light, contemporary side chair with a softly rounded upholstered back and a cushioned seat set on four slim powder coated steel legs. The back rises in a gentle, tapered curve and the seat has a neat, slightly overhanging edge, giving the chair a clean, friendly silhouette that suits modern cafes and restaurants.

It is designed to be specified as a coordinated set of colors: the stocked versions pair a black or terra cotta steel base with natural or black ash and matching fabric or leather, so the frame and upholstery read as one considered palette. The compact 19.5" footprint makes it efficient at two-tops and banquettes, and the matching Duet Stool carries the look to bar and counter seating. Built for commercial use

The Duet has a welded steel frame, not bolted, with a durable powder coated finish. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Stocked combinations: black base with black ash and pewter grey fabric; terra cotta base with natural ash and terra cotta fabric; black base with black ash and chestnut leather.

Fabric (Fabric Option D): pewter grey, lead grey, terra cotta, light green, dark green and dark blue.

Leather (Leather Option D): chestnut or black leather.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply). Minimums also apply for any finishes that are not stocked; please contact your local rep for more information.

For commercial seating we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are welcome, and we will give you the yardage required.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
