Petal Chair (Sled Base)

The Petal Chair (Sled Base) takes the soft, rounded upholstered shell of the Petal and sets it on a continuous powder-coated steel sled base. The back curves gently around the sitter like a flower petal and flows into a generous cushioned seat, while the slim steel rod loops down to the floor in two clean runners. Base and fabric are color-matched for a calm, tonal look.

The sled base gives the chair a lighter, more graphic profile than a four-leg version and glides easily on hard floors. Offered in light green, grey with pewter grey fabric and terra cotta, it suits cafes, hotel restaurants and meeting rooms that want a modern, friendly chair. It is also available with four legs as the Petal Chair (4-leg base).

Built for commercial use

The Petal's steel sled base is welded, not bolted, for a rigid frame in daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
