Trace Chair

The Trace Chair is a minimalist stacking side chair that pairs a thin powder coated steel frame with leather seat and back panels. The back and seat are stretched between the frame's slender rails, creating a sling-like form that flexes gently and reads almost like a line drawing. Straight legs and a squared silhouette keep the look disciplined and modern.

Offered in black leather or warm chestnut leather on a black frame, the Trace adds a quietly luxurious note to cafes, wine bars and modern restaurants without visual bulk. It stacks for storage, is in stock in our quick ship program, and pairs with the Trace Lounge Chair for lounge areas.

Built for commercial use

The Trace's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for lasting rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It stacks for storage, and ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
