Platform Stool

The Platform Stool brings the clean lines of the Platform Chair to bar and counter height. A slim powder-coated steel frame carries a curved ash back panel and a wood or upholstered seat, with a low footrest stretcher tying the legs together. The result is a light, modern stool with a crisp, graphic profile.

It is offered in both bar and counter heights, with black or terracotta steel and natural or black ash, so you can coordinate stools across a bar, a kitchen counter and a dining room with the matching Platform Chair. The stool also stacks, which helps when floors need to be cleared for cleaning or events.

Built for commercial use

The Platform Stool's steel frame is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid under constant use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and on upholstered versions the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The stool stacks for storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Stocked combinations: black base with natural ash; black base with black ash; black base with natural ash and pewter grey fabric; black base with black ash and lead grey fabric; terracotta base with natural ash and terracotta fabric; black base with pewter grey fabric; black base with lead grey fabric; terracotta base with terracotta fabric.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
