Lido Chair

The Lido Chair is part of our Al Fresco line: a solid teak arm chair with a woven rope seat and an optional upholstered seat cushion, made to be used outdoors. A single curved back rail sweeps around the sitter and flows into the arms, and four sturdy, slightly splayed legs give the chair a calm, sculptural presence on a patio or in a dining room.

Teak is naturally suited to outdoor use, and the chair is offered in natural teak, charcoal black or walnut brown, so it can read warm and coastal or dark and modern. Add the optional cushion in an outdoor fabric for extra comfort on long evenings by the pool or on the terrace.

Built for commercial use

The Lido is built from solid teak with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. As an Al Fresco product, it is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use in the natural and black finishes; the walnut brown finish is for indoor use only. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the optional cushion's foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Frame: solid teak in natural, black or walnut brown (walnut brown for indoor use only).

Seat: woven rope, with an optional upholstered seat cushion.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella and other outdoor-ready fabrics in a range of colors.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage required. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more detail.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
