Ralph Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Ralph Chair is a classic bistro side chair with a European beech frame and a comfortable upholstered seat. Its tall, gently curved panel back is cut from a single wide piece that wraps slightly around the sitter, set between square back posts that run straight down to the floor. Stretchers on all sides tie the legs together, and the padded seat sits neatly inside the frame.

Shown in a deep walnut-toned stain with a black seat, the Ralph has the familiar, dependable look of a neighborhood restaurant chair, and it adapts easily with a choice of nine stains and a broad range of faux leathers. It is also offered with a wood seat (RALW-SC), and it coordinates with the matching Ralph Stool for bars and high tops.

Built for commercial use

The Ralph is built in solid European beech with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so the frame stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony, all applied over the European beech frame.

Faux leather (Faux Leather C): a wide range of commercial faux leathers across the Classic, Jackson and Glaze lines, from soft neutrals and warm browns to deep reds, blues and greens.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply).
