Zag Chair

The Zag Chair is a clean, contemporary side chair built on a slender powder coated steel sled base with a fully upholstered seat and back. The tubular base runs along the floor, rises at the back to support the seat, and loops forward at each side to form a slim arm detail just behind the seat, so the chair looks light and graphic from every angle. The softly squared upholstered shell is wrapped in a woven grey fabric that keeps the look calm and tailored.

The sled base glides easily on hard floors and spreads the load, which helps in meeting rooms, hotel restaurants and cafes where chairs move often. It is stocked in a black base with Lead Grey or Pewter Grey fabric, two versatile neutrals that work with wood, stone and painted interiors alike, and it coordinates with the Zag Stool and Zag Lounge Chair for a consistent modern look across a project.

Built for commercial use

The steel base is welded, not bolted, for a stable, rattle-free chair. The Zag Chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
