Wright Chair

The Wright Chair is a European beech dining side chair with an upholstered seat and a distinctive back. The top rail is cut with a row of small rectangular windows, and below it a dark inset panel fills the frame between squared rear posts. The legs are straight and sturdy, with side stretchers, giving the chair a traditional, well-built presence.

Shown in a warm honey stain with a black seat, the Wright has the classic look of a neighborhood restaurant or hotel dining room chair, and the window detail adds just enough character to set it apart. Specify the beech in any of our standard stains, from natural and maple to walnut, mahogany or ebony, with a faux leather or COM seat. The Wright is part of our quick ship program, so it is a dependable choice for fast openings and replacement orders.

Built for commercial use

The Wright is built from European beech with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): a deep library of commercial faux leathers across the Classic, Jackson and Glaze lines, from whites and tans to saturated reds, greens and blues and classic blacks and browns.

For commercial seating we recommend upholstery rated at 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
