Reese Chair

The Reese Chair is a modern take on the classic schoolhouse chair. A slim tubular steel frame forms the legs and rises at the back into two straight posts that hold a curved wood veneer backrest with a cut-out handhold. The veneer seat is gently contoured and appears to float on the frame, giving the chair an honest, utilitarian look with a warm wood touch.

Shown in a warm medium-brown veneer on a gray steel frame, the Reese suits casual restaurants, cafes and breweries that want a relaxed, industrial-leaning feel. Choose from eight veneers and a deep palette of powder coat colors, or match a custom color. It coordinates with the Reese Stool.

Built for commercial use

The Reese has a welded steel frame rather than a bolted one, so it stays tight and quiet through daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer (Wood Option C - Veneer): white oak, walnut, red oak, oak, black oak, antiqued willow, antiqued rubber and antiqued maple.

Metal (Metal Finish A): a broad palette of powder coat colors from the Color Finish Series, metal finishes such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and premium finishes including antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze and rust patina. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
