Sprint Side Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Sprint Side Chair with Upholstered Seat adds a cushioned seat to our compact schoolhouse-style chair. A slim steel frame rises from straight legs into back posts that carry a curved wood veneer back, and an upholstered seat sits on the frame for extra comfort through longer meals.

The seat gives you a way to bring color, leather or texture into the room while the frame and veneer back keep the chair light and simple. At 17.5" wide, it stays space-efficient for busy dining rooms, and it stacks for easy storage and cleaning. Built for commercial use

The Sprint Side Chair with Upholstered Seat has a steel frame that is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks for storage and clearing floor space. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Metal frame (Metal Finish B): powder coat in matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic onyx, ivory and chestnut to richer and distressed tones such as cognac, bourbon, emerald and harbor blue.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad range of wovens, tweeds and textured fabrics in neutrals and color, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use, specify fabrics rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.
