Sprint Side Chair

The Sprint Side Chair is our take on the classic schoolhouse chair, stripped down to its essentials. A slim steel frame runs from straight legs up into back posts that hold a curved wood veneer back, and a shaped wood veneer seat sits on the frame. It is compact, honest and quietly industrial, with warm wood against a clean powder coated frame.

At 18" wide, it is one of the most space-efficient chairs in our line, ideal for cafes, fast-paced dining rooms and employee dining where every seat counts. The veneer seat wipes down quickly, and the chair stacks for easy storage and cleaning. Built for commercial use

The Sprint Side Chair has a steel frame that is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It stacks for storage and clearing floor space. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Metal frame (Metal Finish B): powder coat in matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
