The SS Series is a cast iron table base family built for the everyday workload of restaurants, bars and cafes. Each base pairs a heavy cast foot with a 3" steel column and a flat top plate, the proven, no-fuss pedestal form that disappears under the tabletop and keeps legroom open for guests. The standard cross-shaped foot has four rounded prongs, and a two-prong version handles long tops when used in pairs.

The range covers everything from a small two-top to a 60" round, in dining, counter and bar heights as well as custom heights, so one base family can carry a whole floor plan. Choose black powder coat for a low-key look under wood or laminate tops, or chrome for a brighter, retro diner feel. Most sizes are usually in stock in our quick ship program.

Built for commercial use

The cast iron foot gives the base a low center of gravity for steady tables, and the adjustable glides let staff level tables on uneven floors; self-adjusting glides are available to do that automatically. Tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, bases ship separately from table tops, and customers attach them to the top with the hardware provided. The base carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
