SSB Series Steel Base (2-prong base)

The SSB Series Steel Base (2-prong base) is the long-table member of the SSB family. A 3" steel column rises from a narrow two-prong foot to a round mounting plate, and two bases are used under each top, set toward the ends. That T-shaped foot keeps the base slim along the table's width, leaving open knee space down a banquette run or along a communal table.

Used in pairs, the 5" x 22" two-prong base supports tops up to 36" x 96", which makes it the go-to choice for long dining tables, banquette rows and high-top communal bars. It comes in black powder coat, specially treated for outdoor use, or chrome for indoor settings (chrome is not suitable for outdoor use). The same SSB series also offers four-prong bases for square and round tops, listed below, and it is usually in stock in our quick ship program.

Built for commercial use

Adjustable glides level the table on uneven floors, and the black version is treated for outdoor use. The base is tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Bases ship separately from table tops, and customers attach them to the top with the hardware provided. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Base size and maximum top size (SSB series):

• 5" x 22" two-prong base (2 per table top required): up to 36" x 96"
• 22" x 22": up to 30" x 30"
• 22" x 30": up to 30" x 48"
• 30" x 30": up to 36" x 36"
• 36" x 36": up to 42" x 42"
