SSB Series Steel Base

The SSB Series Steel Base is a steel pedestal base with a four-prong cross foot, made for dining rooms, bars and patios. A 3" steel column rises from the low cross-shaped foot to a round mounting plate, a classic, compact form that keeps legroom open and works under square, round and rectangular tops.

It is offered in black powder coat or chrome. The black base is specially treated for outdoor use, so it can move between inside and outside seating areas, while the chrome version adds a brighter look indoors (chrome is not suitable for outdoor use). Five base sizes, including a two-prong base used in pairs, cover tops from a 30" square two-top up to a 36" x 96" communal table. It is usually in stock in our quick ship program.

Built for commercial use

The base is fitted with adjustable glides for leveling on uneven floors, and the black version is treated for outdoor use. It is tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Bases ship separately from table tops, and customers attach them to the top with the hardware provided. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

• 22" x 22": up to 30" x 30"
• 22" x 30": up to 30" x 48"
• 30" x 30": up to 36" x 36"
• 36" x 36": up to 42" x 42"
